- 1/3 c. soft shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. oleo, melted
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Mix shortening, 1/2 cup of sugar and egg.

2Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg together.

3Stir into shortening mixture with milk.

4Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.

5Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.

6Immediately remove from pans, roll in butter, then in 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon mixture.
