  • pastry for 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. light cream or evaporated milk
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. onion salt

Directions

    Line pie pan with pastry; set aside.

    Brown bacon slices; drain, dice and cool.

    Combine eggs, cheese and onion salt in medium mixing bowl.

    Stir in diced bacon.

    Add cream or evaporated milk; blend well.

    Pour egg mixture into pie shell; bake in a 375° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Serve hot in wedges.
