Breakfast Raisin Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar substitute
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz. quick oatmeal or 3 oz. oatmeal and 3 oz. Fruit and Fibre
  • 1 1/3 c. dry milk powder
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1 c. unsweetened applesauce
  • 3/4 c. raisins (golden raisins are sweeter)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except raisins.

    Fold raisins in last. Pour into loaf pan or square pan that has been sprayed.

    Bake at 350° until brown, 25 to 30 minutes.

    Cut into 8 equal bars.

    Each bar counts as 1 bread, 1 fruit, 1/2 milk and 10 calories.
