  • 3 c. unbleached flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. cold sweet butter, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. currants or golden raisins
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. whole milk

    Put parchment paper on baking sheet. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

    Using paddles at low speed, add butter cubes and mix until nearly blended.
