  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 10 slices cubed bread
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • dash of Worcestershire
  • 8 eggs

Directions

    Fry sausage and bacon.

    Drain and crumble.

    Butter 11 x 14-inch dish.

    Spread half the cubed bread and 1 cup cheese in bottom.

    Add sausage and bacon and rest of bread and cheese.

    Beat eggs; mix rest of ingredients and pour over casserole.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 325° for 45 to 60 minutes, uncovered, until no moisture is left.
