  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 7 to 10 c. flour

    Pour boiling water over shortening.

    Add sugar and salt.

    Add eggs.

    Add yeast to warm water; let set 15 minutes.

    Mix together. Add flour.

    Store in tight fitting bowl and cover.

    Make into rolls 2 hours before baking.
