- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. shortening or oil
- 1/2 to 1 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 10 c. flour
Directions

1Pour boiling water over shortening. (If using oil, hot tap water will work.)

2Add sugar and salt. Blend and cool. Add eggs. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add egg mixture.

3Add flour to make soft dough.

4You may need a little more or less than 10 cups flour.

5Knead until smooth and refrigerate.

6Make into rolls 1 to 2 hours before baking.

7Bake in 400° oven for about 15 minutes. Keeps well in refrigerator for about 10 days.

8Makes about 4 dozen.
