Broccoli And Cavetelli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bag frozen cavetelli
  • 1 box frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 small or 1 large can mushrooms (pieces and stems)
  • garlic powder
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped or 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan/Romano cheese

Directions

    In large skillet, melt butter.

    Add garlic and saute until cooked.

    Add mushrooms and heat until hot.

    Add salt and pepper to taste as well as garlic powder (I never measure; probably 2 tablespoons); set aside.

    Cook cavetelli and broccoli according to package directions.

    Drain cavetelli and put in large mixing bowl. Add broccoli.

    Pour butter sauce over and stir until cavetelli is coated.

    Add Parmesan/Romano cheese.

    Stir.
