- 1 pound Flank Steak
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 3- 1/2 Tablespoons Water, Divided
- 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 3/4 pounds Broccoli
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil, Divided
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, Halved, Seeded, And Cut Into 1-inch Pieces
- 4 cups Cooked Brown Rice

1Cut the steak in half lengthwise.

2Cut each half across the grain into 1/8-inch-thick slices.

3Combine beef, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper; toss well.

4Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.

5Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons water, oyster sauce, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl; set aside.

6Cut broccoli into florets and put them into a bowl.

7Peel broccoli stems; cut stems diagonally into 1/4-inch-thick slices and add to the bowl.

8Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

9Add beef mixture to skillet; cook 3 minutes or until beef is browned, stirring constantly.

10Remove from heat.

11Transfer beef mixture to a bowl.

12Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in pan over medium-heat.

13Add broccoli and bell pepper, cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

14Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of water and cook 1 minute longer, stirring constantly.
