  • 2 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli or 1 large bunch fresh broccoli
  • 1 c. grated American cheese
  • 1 c. water chestnuts (8 1/2 oz.), sliced
  • 1 c. mushroom soup
  • 2/3 c. condensed milk
  • 1 c. mushrooms
  • 1 c. French fried onion rings

Directions

    Stew broccoli 4 minutes and drain.

    Put in casserole dish; add cheese and chestnuts.

    Combine soup, milk and mushrooms and pour over broccoli.

    Bake for 25 minutes.

    Top with onion rings and bake 3 minutes longer.
