Broccoli Casserole

- 12 slices white bread
- 3/4 lb. sharp American cheese, sliced
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
- 2 c. finely diced ham
- 6 slightly beaten eggs
- 3 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion (instant)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Cut 12 doughnuts and holes from bread.

2Remove crust from scraps, fitting scraps in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place cheese slices in layer over bread, followed by a layer of broccoli, then a layer of ham.

3Arrange bread doughnuts and holes on top.

4Combine remaining ingredients and pour over all.

5Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours, or overnight.

6Bake uncovered in slow 325° oven for 55 minutes.

7Sprinkle some grated cheese over top 5 minutes before end of baking.
