Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
  • 20 oz. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained

Directions

    Saute onion in 4 tablespoons butter until soft.

    Stir in flour.

    Add water.

    Stir and cook until thick.

    Blend in cheese. Add to broccoli.

    Beat eggs and add gently into 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Cover with crumbs.

    Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

    Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan.
