Broccoli Casserole

- 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 c. American cheese, grated
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 can fried onion rings (optional)
Directions

1Cook broccoli until almost tender and place in a 2-quart casserole dish.

2Combine chestnuts, soup, cheese and milk.

3Mix well.

4Pour over broccoli and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

5Remove from oven and top with onion rings.

6Bake 10 more minutes.

7Serves 6.
