Cheese Potato Bake

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 8 or 12 oz. pasteurized process cheese
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Peel and slice potatoes as French fries.

    Cook bacon and crumble into small pieces, cut cheese into small pieces, quarter and slice onions.

    Mix all ingredients, salt and pepper to taste, cut butter up in small pieces and put on top of mixture in heavy duty foil.

    Close tightly, bake in 375° oven approximately 45 minutes.

    Serves 6.
