  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. milk
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained

    Blend in flour and salt; gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
