- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cup half and half cream
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 2 head broccoli chopped
- 1 cup carrots shredded
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 8 oz cheddar cheese
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Set aside

3Cook melted butter and flour using a wisk over medium heat for 3 - 5 minutes.

4Then add half & half

5Add chicken stock, let simmer

6Add broccoli, carrots and saute onions.

7Cook on low heat for 15 minutes add salt and pepper to taste

8Stir in cheese and nutmeg.

9Serve with cut up baguette and enjoy
