- 2 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 (12 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. chopped ham
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black or white pepper
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
Directions

1Wash and separate broccoli into stems.

2Cover and boil broccoli in 1 can of chicken broth for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.

3Boil, covered.

4Remove from broth, cool and chop coarsely. Add all ingredients to broth.

5Add the other can of broth and heat to desired temperature, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
