- 3/4 c. skim milk
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (low-fat)
- 1 egg
- 10 oz. broccoli spears, thawed and chopped
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 slices dry whole wheat toast
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Combine milk, margarine and cheese in saucepan over low heat until cheese melts.

2Cool and stir in egg.

3Place broccoli in greased 1-quart baking dish; sprinkle with salt.

4Pour cheese mixture over broccoli.

5Cook and stir garlic in margarine for 2 minutes.

6Add toast cubes and stir until butter is absorbed. Sprinkle over broccoli; top with Parmesan cheese.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
