Broccoli Nut Casserole

- 2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 medium, chopped onion
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans or 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 c. buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook broccoli with salt per package directions; drain.

2Add soup, mayo and water chestnuts or nut meats.

3Mix well.

4Add eggs and onion.

5Pour into greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top and buttered crumbs.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

7Serves 6 to 8.
