  • 9-inch pie crust
  • 4 tsp. butter
  • 1 lb. broccoli
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. grated Swiss
  • 1/4 c. grated Monterey Jack
  • 2 tsp. onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Prepare pie crust and partially bake for 8 minutes at 350°. Melt 3 teaspoons butter in skillet.

    Add onion, salt and broccoli. Cover; simmer 5 minutes.

    Beat eggs, cream, salt and nutmeg; add cheese and stir.

    Pour into pie shell and dot with remaining butter and bake 35 minutes at 350°.
