Broccoli Salad Squares

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. white or cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. broccoli flowerets, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. red onion, thinly sliced and quartered
  • 1/4 c. golden raisins (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. sunflower seed - kernels

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Unroll crescent role dough; do not separate.

    Roll out dough onto a rectangle stone or cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool completely.

    In a bowl mix together mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar; set aside. Chop broccoli and bacon.

    Cut onion into thin slices, then quarter slices.

    Spread mayonnaise mixture over top of crust.

    Cut into square pieces then top with ingredients.

    Sprinkle with broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins and sunflower seed kernels.

    Serve immediately or refrigerate up to one hour.
