  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained thoroughly
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped fine and sauteed in a little butter
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 slices white bread, cut into cubes and sauteed in a little butter (use as topping)

Directions

    Combine everything in a casserole; top with bread cubes and bake at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered.
