Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 can (at least) milk
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 (10 oz.) box broccoli, chopped
  • shredded Colby cheese (as much as you like)

Directions

    Mix the 3 soups and milk together in a large saucepan.

    Add the mushrooms, if desired, undrained.

    Heat until well blended. Do not burn!

    The broccoli does better if precooked to crisp, either on the stove or microwave.

    Add to the hot soup mixture. The cheese is added last.

    Stir until melted into the soup.

    You can use other vegetables (cauliflower, asparagus or a combination).

    Other cheeses can be used also (Swiss, Cheddar). You really can't ruin this.

    I have even added leftover cooked ham to it.
