  • 3 tsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lb. broccoli
  • 1 c. milk or half and half
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth or 2 bouillon cubes, dissolved
  • grated cheese

    Add onion and saute until transparent. Blend in flour,
