Broccoli With Almonds

- 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli, cut into spears
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a large saucepot, bring broccoli, water and bouillon to a boil.

2Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender.

3Drain and place in a serving dish; keep warm.

4In a skillet, saute almonds in margarine until browned. Add onion and salt; saute until onion is tender.

5Pour over broccoli; toss to coat.

6Yield: 6 servings.
