Broccoli With Sesame Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil and rest salad oil to equal 1/2 c. total
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
  • 1/2 c. pimiento or marinated red pepper
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 sauteed large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. cornflake crumbs
  • 1 c. sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 can Durkee onion rings

Directions

    Cook spinach and broccoli as directed.

    Drain well.

    Mix rest of ingredients, except onion rings, with vegetables.

    Bake 15 minutes in a 350° oven.

    Add 1/2 can of onion rings.

    Mix well and add rest of can on top of casserole.

    Bake an additional 10 minutes.
