- 2 tablespoons ground almonds
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs, white or 4 tablespoons whole wheat
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 4 (6 ounce) brown trout fillets
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Preheat broiler to medium heat.

2In a large bowl mix cheese, breadcrumbs, and nuts.

3In another medium bowl beat the milk and egg.

4Season with salt and pepper.

5Rinse trout, pat dry, and coat in flour.

6Dip in egg/milk mixture and then turn to coat in breadcrumb mixture.

7Cook for 5 minutes or until golden and cooked through, turning once.
