  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour, mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar. Beat egg yolks and vanilla with sugar and margarine. Add flour, sifted with cinnamon and salt. Grease 2 jelly roll pans. Divide dough and spread evenly and flatten with hands. Brush top of dough with slightly beaten egg whites, then press chopped nuts into dough. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Cut into squares or fingers while hot. Remove from pan when cool.
