  • 12 cup rye flour
  • 12 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 12 cup all-purpose flour
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 13 cup molasses
  • 13 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 34 cup raisins

Directions

    Heat oven to 400 and grease standard size muffin tin.

    Mix flours, cornmeal, salt and baking soda.

    In seperate bowl: mix egg, vegetable oil, molasses, sugar and buttermilk.

    Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients stirring until blended.

    Stir in raisins.

    Fill muffin tins 3/4 full.

    Bake 15 minutes or until tester tests clean.
