- 3 cups milk
- 12 cup brown rice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 13 cup raw sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- cinnamon
Directions

1In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine milk, salt, nutmeg, and rice.

2Bring to a slight boil, stirring occasionally.

3Reduce to medium-low and cover.

4Allow to cook for 40-45 minutes.

5Cool slightly.

6Add sugar, cornstarch, egg, and vanilla.

8Return to heat and cook about 5 minutes, until the mixture thickens.

9Pour mixture into individual serving dishes and cool to room temperature.
