- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten well
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
Directions

1Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.

2Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 5 minutes at 425°.

3Turn heat down to 325°.

4Bake until middle of pie is firm, about 35 to 40 minutes.

5May use 1 cup chopped nuts on top of mixture before cooking.
