  • 3 egg whites
  • dash of salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. plain chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Beat egg whites and salt until it peaks.

    Add sugar gradually until stiff.

    Fold in crumbs, nuts and vanilla.

    Spread evenly in a lightly buttered pie pan and bake at 325° for about 35 minutes. Do not overbake.

    Fill with whipping cream and 1/4 cup sugar.
