  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar, and salt, set aside.

    In a saucepan, put margarine, water and cocoa.

    Bring to a boil and pour over flour-sugar mixture.

    Add eggs, soda, buttermilk, and vanilla to mixture.

    Bake in greased and floured deep cookie sheet (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inches).

    Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
