Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 heaping c. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 6 eggs, beaten well
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix sugar, cocoa and butter well, then add remaining ingredients.

    Pour in greased pan.

    Bake in an 18 x 12 x 1-inch pan at 325° for 25 minutes.

    Cover after 10 minutes of cooling time with waxed paper.

    Finish cooling.

    Ice as soon as cool. German chocolate cake icing is wonderful on these brownies.
