- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

3Melt butter in microwave; stir in sugar and vanilla.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

5Add cocoa; beat until well blended.

6Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well.

7Stir in nuts.

8Pour batter into prepared pan.

9Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool.

10Cut into bars and eat.
