- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Gradually add sugar and vanilla.

3Beat well. Blend in melted butter.

4(Blend cocoa in melted butter before adding to egg mixture.)

5Before adding flour, mix flour, salt and baking powder together, then add to egg mixture.

6Stir until well blended.

7Stir in nuts.

8Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from sides.

9Cool in pan.
