Ingredients
- 3 lb. sausage
- 8 slices bread, trimmed and cubed
- 3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 soup can milk
Directions

1Fry sausage.

2Arrange bread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Cover with cheese.

4Scatter sausage over cheese.

5Beat eggs with milk and mustard and add mushrooms.

6Pour over top.

7Cover and refrigerate overnight.

8Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Dilute soup with milk and pour over top.

9Dot with butter.

10Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

11(Place a cookie sheet on lower level shelf in oven to catch spills.)
