- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 can (6 oz.) no-salt added tomato paste
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup low sodium catsup
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
Directions

1Cook macaroni according to pkg. directions, omitting salt. Drain and set aside.

2Brown beef with mushrooms, onion and garlic. Drain.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Simmer gently, about 15 minutes.

5Add cooked, drained macaroni.

6Simmer 5 minutes. Serve.
