Ingredients

  • 16 slices white bread
  • 8 slices ham (thin)
  • 8 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. crushed potato chips

Directions

    Place 8 slices of bread flat in 9 x 13-inch buttered baking dish.

    On each slice, top with 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese and remaining 8 slices of bread.

    Mix eggs, beaten with salt, pepper, mustard, onion, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce and milk.

    Pour mixture over the top of bread.

    Refrigerate overnight.
