Brunch Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. plain croutons
  • 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 slightly beaten eggs*
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder
  • dash of pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled

Directions

    Combine croutons and Cheddar cheese.

    Spread in bottom of greased 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.

    Mix eggs, milk, salt, mustard, onion powder and pepper until well blended.

    Pour over crouton mixture.

    Spread bacon on top of casserole.

    Bake in oven at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until eggs are set.

    Garnish with bacon curls if desired.
