  • 1 lb. stew beef
  • 1 1/2 lb. cooked chicken, skinned and deboned
  • 1 qt. potatoes, peeled and cut up
  • 3 to 4 large onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • Worcestershire sauce or thyme leaves to taste
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 pt. green peas
  • 1 pt. corn
  • 1 pt. lima beans
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. pepper

    Cook beef nearly done.

    Then add other ingredients.

    Cook 5 or 6 hours.

    Cook on high heat until bubbly and then lower heat and cook until done.
