Ingredients

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. butter, melted

Directions

    Heat first 4 ingredients in saucepan until butter melts.

    Cool to 105° to 115°.

    Stir in yeast until dissolved.

    Place flour in large bowl; add milk mixture and stir until blended.

    Cover and rise in warm place about 1 hour and 20 minutes (double).

    Roll to 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface.

    Cut into 3-inch squares. Dip each square in melted butter.
