  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. shortening

Directions

    In medium bowl, mix sugar, peanut butter and margarine until blended, kneading with hands, if necessary.

    Shape peanut butter mixture into 1-inch balls.

    Place on cookie sheet and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

    When peanut butter balls are firm, in saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate chips and shortening until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
