Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, split
- flour
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 6 Tbsp. low-cholesterol margarine
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1/4 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. can Budweiser beer
- 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
Directions

1Rinse chicken and pat dry.

2Mix flour, salt and pepper together and lightly flour chicken.

3Saute chicken in margarine. Remove to platter and saute onion in same pan.

4Sprinkle onion with parsley, thyme and salt, then return chicken to pan, turning until chicken is well coated with onion mixture.

5Pour beer over chicken and stir in mushrooms.

6Poke chicken with fork so it will pick up flavor.

7Place in casserole dish and bake, covered in a 325° oven 1 hour.

8Serve sauce with chicken.
