- 1 lb ground buffalo meat
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 (10 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 cup low-sodium V8 juice
- 2 (14 ounce) cans baked beans (in tomato sauce)
- 1 (28 ounce) can kidney beans
- 14 cup ground flax seeds
Directions

1In a dutch oven, brown ground bison on med-high.

2Add 3 cloves of garlic, 2 Tbsp of Chilli powder onion, and green pepper.

3cook for about 4 minutes.

4Add tomato soup, canned tomatoes and v8.

5Allow to return to a simmer.

6Add rinsed kedney beans, and both cans of baked beans.

7Simmer for at least 15 minutes, or add to a slow cooker, and cook as long as you like.

8Add ground flax, remaining chilli powder, and garlic just before serving.
