- 12 chicken wings (about 2 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 2 -3 tablespoons bottled hot pepper sauce (I use Tabasco)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt (optional)
- black pepper (optional)

1Preheat broiler.

2Meanwhile, rinse chicken wings;pat dry with paper towels.

3Cut off and discard tips of chicken wings.

4Place wing pieces in a shallow non-metal pan.

5For sauce: In a small mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter or margarine, bottled hot pepper sauce, and paprika.

6Pour mixture over chicken wings, stirring to coat.

7Cover chicken and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.

8Drain chicken, reserving sauce.

9Place the chicken wing pieces on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.

10If desired, sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper.

11Brush with some of the reserved sauce.

12Broil chicken 4 to 5 inches from the heat about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

13Turn the chicken pieces; brush again with the reserved sauce.

14Broil for 10 to 15 minutes more or until the chicken is tender and no longer pink.

15Serve with Blue Cheese or Ranch dip/Salad dressing and, if desired, celery sticks.
