  • 4 lb. chicken wings, cut apart at joints
  • 1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 to 3 Tbsp. liquid hot pepper seasoning or to taste
  • 1 to 3 tsp. red pepper (cayenne)

    Discard chicken wingtips.

    Rinse remaining wing pieces and pat dry, then arrange in a single layer in 2 lightly greased shallow 10 x 15-inch baking pans.

    Bake, uncovered, in 400° oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
