- 1 cup cracked wheat (bulgur)
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 each onions diced
- 1 each green bell peppers diced
- 3 each garlic cloves
- 2 cups chickpeas (garbanzo beans) cooked
- 13 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup parsley leaves chopped
- 1 x salt and black pepper to taste
Directions

1Put the bulgur in a bowl.

2Boil the water/stock and add half of the cumin.

3Pour over the bulgur, mix and put aside.

4Saute the onion, pepper and 1/2 of the garlic.

5After a few minutes add the rest of the garlic and the cumin.

6Stir for a little bit and then add it to the bulgur.

7Then stir in the parsley chickpeas and lemon juice.

8Add salt and pepper to taste.
