- 4 c. boiling water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. lard
- 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water
- 3 eggs
- 17 c. flour
Directions

1Mix in the evening.

2Boil the water, salt and sugar for 5 minutes.

3Add lard and cool. Add 4 cups flour and mix. Add yeast and the rest of the flour. Turn out on floured board and knead. Let rise until double. With hands, shape into 2-inch buns.

4Place a little apart on greased cookie sheets and let rise overnight. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400°.

5Makes about 80 buns.
