  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 4 to 8-inch flour tortilla shells
  • 3/4 to 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1/3 c. taco sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 to 1 lb. shredded Monterey Jack
  • 1 c. lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 5 large ripe olives

    Fry tortilla shells each side for 30 seconds in hot oil until blistered.
